I have an extensive knowledge of the industry supported by 22 years’ experience and a Bachelor of Teaching, Early Childhood. My experience includes teaching, Directing and the management of a number of services catering for children 0 to 12 years as Operations Manager.
Having 2 children of my own I understand the importance of developing strong partnerships with families.
As the centre director I lead my team in advocating for the highest quality care and education of all children by providing a stimulating, nurturing and caring environment in partnership with families and the community.
The early years are a time of rapid growth and development. A positive start to learning, through an inclusive play-based program which builds on children’s individual strengths, interests and abilities, will set children up for lifelong learning.

Why choose Shellharbour Early Learning and Care?
Shellharbour Early Learning and Care is a safe space for living and learning where children are celebrated for their individuality and empowered to discover, explore and take the lead in their learning. Our interactions with children are focused on high quality educational outcomes and we believe in inclusion providing high quality childcare accessible to all children and families.
Our environments are inviting, engaging, age appropriate, thought provoking and challenging and represent our children, families and cultures.
In addition to our main outdoor area, we have an additional indoor/ outdoor area for each room which means children have 3 separate spaces with a range of varied learning experiences to engage with across the day. Even during those really hot days or wet weather, children are able to enjoy active play as each room includes Softfall flooring surfaces. The variety of areas allow for more intimate small group experiences across the day to optimise learning opportunities.
We have a separate Prep Room and Transition to School program with connections to local schools to support children and families in a smooth transition to big school.
There is easy access to the centre through dedicated parking spots. Our central location means that the children can access the local library, child specific experiences in conjunction with Stockland and our local community garden to further extend on their learning through hands on experiences within our local community.
