From our Director Paige Willingham

Bingara Gorge Community Preschool is a long day care service that opened in March 2014. The centre is a 117-place service with five rooms, providing care from 6 weeks to 12 years old. The preschool has a capacity of 90 children per day and the Fun Club service has 27 positions. Our Fun Club service offers before/after school care and vacation care, it is located on the same premises of Bingara Gorge Community Preschool. Our service has been through two assessment and rating procedures during our almost 10 years of operation, receiving an overall rating of exceeding both times. We believe that Early Education and Care is the foundation for all children. Our service aims to support all children to reach developmental and milestone achievements. Three attributes we believe we best relate to are Belonging, Being and Becoming.

Belonging – We believe children will sense and respond to the feeling of belonging if they feel confident with their identity and safe within their play environments. We support children to belong by building positive and engaging relationships with all children in our care.

Being – Children can be in the moment at Bingara Gorge Community Preschool and explore natural and constructed environments during their time. Children are supported to build positive relationships with peers and educators.

Becoming – Children can grow and learn at our preschool. We support this through learning activities and experiences such as reading stories, our school readiness program, creative arts and crafts, self-help and independent skills and engaging children’s voices into our programs. We hope to have the opportunity to enrich the lives and minds of your child and family within our care.

What Parents are Saying About Bingara Gorge Community Preschool

We love it here! The staff are awesome! My children love coming to daycare

“I honestly am giving Big Fat Smile a score of 10/10. The reason being is I have been looking at a lot of preschools for my son to enrol in last year and have not met a great manager who made me feel comfortable and welcomed to hand my son over to their care. The staff are amazing and honestly have taught my son to come out of his shell and he started to speak so much within the first 3 months of attending this preschool. I would highly recommend this preschool.”

“Educators at BGCPS are absolutely second to none. They really work with the kids and families to achieve milestones and goals with the child’s interests at heart to achieve the best outcomes.”

“Love our daycare. The educators are so lovely and knowing your kids are in safe/capable hands is very reassuring.”

“Excellent service. I trust all the staff and know my child is safe. My child is very happy there and he enjoys all the activities. The staff are incredibly friendly and give my child a lot of attention, especially at drop-offs when he can sometimes be upset. Highly recommend this service.
