What Parents are Saying About Bulli Community Preschool

“My daughter attended BFS Bulli in her final year of childcare before starting Primary School. I was impressed with the care given and although she only attended 1 day per week the carers got her Transition to School statement spot on which I thought showed so much insight seeing as she only attended 1 day per week which was disrupted by Covid shutdown.

” The Bulli centre is great. The carers are friendly and know all the kids. They provide a good a safe environment for the kids to learn and play. The carers know the strengths of the kids. They let them blossom in their strengths and work on the things that they aren’t so good with.”

“All the girls are great, all of my kids have loved coming to pre school. I love that the same teachers have taught two of my children.”

“My son loves the learning and play activities at his preschool, like no other he has been to before. He is also exposed to foods he won’t try at home and activities he would never try with us!”

We see children as capable and confident learners, who develop through engaging in child lead, play based learning. Educators support children to connect with their peers and environment by offering a variety of opportunities for play, independent learning and collaborative learning.
Educators value families by developing professional relationships, and incorporating their beliefs and traditions into our service. Educators also collaborate with families when developing learning outcomes for children, and have a wonderful reputation in our community for their ability to support families and children through the early years.
We provide an extensive transition to school program that is embedded in our daily experiences, and starts as soon as your child enrols. Educators work with local schools to ensure each child has a smooth transition to primary school.

Lastly, we implement a self-regulation program developed by Early Start at the University of Wollongong that assists with enhancing children’s emotional, cognitive and behavioral self-regulation. We aim to build resilience and give children skills for life..
