From our Director Dilek Atak

At Cobbler’s Hill, our dedication lies in nurturing compassion and resilience in children. Through a dynamic, play-based curriculum and collaborative learning approach, we empower children to develop empathy and foster essential social skills. Together, we are sculpting confident, engaged learners for life, embracing and celebrating the rich diversity that enriches our community at every turn.

I also believe that relationships and meaningful interactions are at the core of Early Education and these relationships create a place where children and families develop a sense of belonging.

At Cobbler’s Hill we support children in developing empathy, resilience and social skills. We embed sustainability in our practices and value diversity.

” Very focused on children’s development and learning. Very friendly atmosphere.”

We have highly qualified, experienced and dedicated teachers and educators who carefully plan and develop play spaces for children that reflect their abilities, needs and interests. Our teachers are highly trained in supporting and extending the development of children.

We have a large outdoor play space with vegetable gardens, a large sand pit, set in a natural environment with trees and rocks to that children can engage with nature. We have two separate yards to ensure a safe space for our 0-3 year olds, while giving our 4 – 5 year olds a space to actively explore. We also have an oval located next to our centre which allows children to explore their natural environment as well as engage in physical play.

We have a transition to school program to improve formal understanding in numeracy and literacy, cognitive and behavioural resilience and to support social development, emotional regulation. This program supports children with the necessary skills to move into the next stage of their education.
