Koonawarra Community Preschool has an excellent reputation in our community and beyond. Our educators offer exceptional care and education to children.

We always like to incorporate fun and adventure into our programs, and we establish very meaningful and genuine relationships with our families.

We have 5 educators that have been employed for over 20+ years and are looking after 2nd generation children. We are often referred to as ‘family’ because educators genuinely care.

What Parents are Saying About Koonawarra Community Preschool

“Next level service and commitment from all the girls at Koonawarra Community Preschool! Can never thank them enough for not only helping my son be a part of the family but also myself! They really put my mind at ease knowing that my son was in great hands! My son has come a long way since he first started there and it is all thanks to the girls at Koonawarra Community Preschool!”

“The service we received at Koonawarra preschool had been excellent over 8 years and my family has been well supported”

“Koonawarra is just next level care and learning, the ladies are phenomenal. I often have conversations with other mums with children in different places and Koonawarra is just a cut way above the rest.”

“The centre is fantastic the staff are amazing and when I drop my children off it’s like I’m dropping them to family.”

Koonawarra Community Preschool is highly regarded in our local community. We pride ourselves on our educators – long serving, committed, caring and dedicated with a genuine interest in building meaningful relationships with children and families.

Our massive landscaped backyard is awesome. It certainly has the wow factor and so much natural space for the children to explore. We have a bike track and plenty of natural grass and shade to enjoy interactions with friends. We take pride in our indoor environments as well and operate 3 rooms – 0-2 years, 2-4 years and 4-5 years.

Our educational programs are high quality that promote investigation, imagination, creativity, problem solving and engagement. We provide a balanced program, providing opportunities for play, independent learning and collaborative group work. We always endeavour to incorporate lots of extra curricula activities for the children and have wonderful links with our community.

Educators spend time sharing posts to Kinderloop – our platform used to document children’s learning. We have a comprehensive school readiness program, that is well respected in our community by local school teachers. We are also an Early Start Engagement Centre which means access to excellent technology and professional development for educators to enhance children’s learning.

We provide nutritious, healthy meals and are lucky to have a qualified chef prepare the meals for the children. We also have a big focus on child safety and well being.
