Big Fat Smile set a new benchmark this month with 90% of its centres now exceeding the National Quality Standard. This compares with the regulator’s latest published report of just 28% of centres exceeding the Standard across the country.
The Standard is used to rate all long day care, preschool, occasional care, school age and family day care centres for quality across Australia. It’s the independent umpire’s decision on quality for each centre and the ratings provide important information for families.
