On January 31st, 2022 the NSW Government announced they will be issuing $500 Before and After School Care vouchers to eligible families for use from February 28th, 2022.
Premier Dominic Perrottet said before and after school care services were more important than ever as families return to work from lockdowns and holidays.
“These vouchers for before and after school care will help alleviate some of the financial pressures on NSW families and provide greater flexibility and more options for those who need to work. It’s been a challenging past couple of years for parents of school-aged children. Many have had to juggle the demands of supervising their kids’ education at home while working remotely, or even foregoing paid work,” Mr Perrottet affirmed.
Eligible families will be provided the voucher in the same way as the Dine & Discover Vouchers through their Service NSW App and can use these on the out of pocket costs of their before and after school care, redeemable at any Big Fat Smile Fun Club.
Apply online via a MyServiceNSW account, in the app, or by visiting their nearest Service Centre from February 28th, 2022.
