Surfer Skye Burgess has been crowned Open Women’s Champion in the 27th Annual Werri Autumn Slash Surf Competition held at Werri Beach, May 24th – 25th, 2014.
The 27th Slash saw some of the best local competitors face off in a range of categories from under 14s through to seniors.
Skye is part of Big Fat Smile’s community connections program which builds meaningful partnerships with our communities.
As part of the community connections program, Skye shares stories about surfing and the importance of healthy lifestyle with children from our Community preschools and Skoolzout clubs – all while she travels the world with the Big Fat Smile logo on her board.
Skye is currently ranked as No. 40 short boarder in the world. Congratulations Skye!
